We’ve had some changes to the core team at Mark Lee Plastic Surgery. We are thrilled to be welcoming back Nurse Bridget from maternity leave and welcoming Nurse Zoe to the team.
Nurse Bridget
Bridget is a qualified Registered Nurse with five years’ experience, being inspired to pursue the career by her mother who was also a nurse. She started her career in the Intensive Care Unit, but now joins us in the Plastics field.
Bridget is very supportive and caring and is passionate about helping our breast cancer patients through their reconstruction journey. She also has a special interest in injectables, particularly Botox.
Bridget has returned to the Mark Lee team part-time so she still has plenty of time to hang out with her little boy soaking in the great memories.
When Bridget isn’t in her scrubs, she enjoys exercising, cooking and being outdoors.
On why she loves her job, Bridget responded “I enjoy the face to face contact of my job, I get to meeting lots of different people at different stages of their life and plastic surgery journey. I like to ensure all my patients feel supported and cared for and to be a support person and someone they can confide in.”
Nurse Zoe
Zoe is a recently qualified Registered Nurse, coming to our team from the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation ward at Fremantle Hospital.
Zoe has a background in beauty therapy and is passionate about helping people with their self-improvement and confidence building journey.
She is particularly interested in plastic reconstructive surgery, and understands the range of emotions a patient may be feeling toward their surgery and recovery. Zoe will be there for our patients throughout the journey with a caring heart and listening ear.
A big part of her role with us as a Practice Nurse is to ensure our patients have the best possible post-operative care plan in place. She is particularly interested in wound care to ensure would healing is optimal and scarring minimised. She keeps on top of the latest research and methods for dressings and aftercare.
When Zoe isn’t in her scrubs, you’ll likely find her walking her dog along the beach.
On why she loves her job, Zoe responded “I get to be a part of someone’s life-changing journey. It is quite a honour to see and I am grateful that I can play a part by spending time with them and caring for them throughout the process.”
